During part of our December 2019 staff meeting, Mrs. Robbins read staff the story of the Four Food Chiefs. Stories are an important part of Indigenous culture. Every time one hears a story, they learn something new. As we grow, we experience different things in life. As we hear stories over and over, they cause us to think more deeply and reflect in new ways. Mrs. Lane shared teaching ideas with our staff about ways to help students learn, appreciate and connect with qualities and characteristics of the Four Food Chiefs.
